Strong and Steady – Classes for Seniors

Exercise has been shown to be extremely beneficial as we get older for:

  • heart health
  • bone mineral density
  • joint health,
  • strength
  • balance

And can be maintained or improved through regular physical activity at any age.

Maintaining independence and decreasing the risk of falls have also been attributed to leg strengthening and balance exercises.

Beat It – for Diabetes

Exercise has been shown to be extremely beneficial in the management of Diabetes.

Together with Diabetes NSW we run the Beat-It Program which includes exercise class twice a week for 8 weeks.

Classes are in Penrith and Jordan Springs.

Exercise for Diabetes

For those who complete the Beat It program and are keen to continue a similar program after successful completion of Beat It, we offer maintenance exercise classes once a week.

Classes are in Jordan Springs and Penrith .
