Maddy Parker is a Physiotherapist in our Caringbah team. She graduated from Western Sydney University, with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Physiotherapy. Maddy excelled in her studies throughout university being awarded a place each year on the esteemed Dean’s Merit list and recognised internationally for her achievements as a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Maddy has experience with elite sports teams as a Physiotherapist with NSW Touch Football and Australian Touch Football, supporting elite and junior athletes at regional, state and national levels.
A keen sportswoman, Maddy grew up playing netball, basketball and soccer and understands the effect injuries can have on our body and everyday aspects of life. She has a passion for helping others with injuries and values the importance of a holistic approach that is getting each patient back to what they love doing. Maddy also has experience and a key interest in helping those with musculoskeletal conditions, particularly chronic back and neck issues.
Maddy also teaches our mat Pilates classes each week to small groups looking to get strong and prevent musculoskeletal issues. She also takes our weekly Keep It And Move It exercise class for our seniors. She strives to give the best physio experience, practicing effective hands on treatment with good exercise prescription and lifestyle education to work towards getting everybody back to their optimal performance.
Outside work, Maddy enjoys an active lifestyle doing pilates and yoga, playing oztag and soccer. She loves spending time outdoors at the beach, surfing, swimming and bush walking with her friends, family and cute dog.
