
Alix Waddell
Physiotherapist
Alix Waddell is a Penrith local who graduated from the University of Technology Sydney, completing her Master in Physiotherapy. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Western Sydney University.
Alix’s passion for Physiotherapy started at a young age growing up playing many sports including, soccer, athletics, netball, swimming, oztag and tennis. This saw her have multiple visits to see physiotherapists which is where her desire to become a physiotherapist began.
Alix has a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and in health and fitness. She believes a healthier body leads to an improved quality of life which lead her to the healthy body company.
Alix is classic 6am gym junkie often getting up early to get in a quick workout before work. She has played representative soccer for Nepean FC and enjoys her running completing two half marathons.
Alix has a deep desire to help her clients live healthy active lives, and her approach includes hands on treatment and best evidence based practice to give patients the best care. She also has a current sports trainer certification and is accredited with Diabetes NSW to run BEAT IT classes at our Penrith practice.
Away from work, Alix values her time spent with family and friends. She often visits her nan and pop on the farm in Hartley and watching her brother play football. But what most importantly she loves most is her dog Marty.
